From the begingin of this project I knew I wanted to do something that involved drawing and circles. My first thought was using a fan or multiple which didn't seem to work out. But I had multiple motors in front of my and decided to use those to create these circles for drawing. I had to create arms for each of the motors. My next thought was then to create different diameters for each circle. I connected different sized arms to each and then I also attached pencils to each arm. I chose pencils as the medium because that is the medium I enjoy working with. I alos did not want it to be colorful because I enjoy black and white art. After I had the drawing utensils attached I had decide the order in which they were attached. I wanted the robot to replicate a snowman figure while spinning because when I think of the perfect circle I think of a child trying to draw a snowman. (that might be because of the winter olympics being on) I then attached these to a a shoe box because I knew I wanted everything like the batters and wires hidden. The robot did something unexpected when turned on, it moved to the side and started to circle itself because of the movement of the motors. This changed the drawing from what I expected but in a good way.
