I decided to use a found remote control car and repurpose it into a work of art. I used cardboard, electrical tape, and paper clips to achieve a bot-like object that spins its arms when pressing forward/backward on the remote control. The car is totally hidden and I transformed it into a robot like sculpture.

I was able to change the existing object into something completely different, changing its function and original purpose into a work of art. "When an object's use is subverted, it is as though the protagonist is cheating the system and deriving more pleasure than is his or her due. The subversion of function relates to a breakdown of order; something else becomes visible, unnameable, unable to find a correspondence in the material world."
